October 1995 to present – Provide enterprise management, portfolio and risk management model development and related services. Engagements include development of enterprise management, business and cash flow models, portfolio and risk management processes and models, valuation of derivative securities and evaluation of financial management processes for private, corporate, and government entities. Examples include:

* Developed a variety of business, cash flow, marketing and activity flow models to enhance the expansion in sub-prime credit card marketing and banking entities.
* Provided litigation support in complex financial portfolio litigation.
* Developed unique cash flow model to value complex mortgage-backed derivatives portfolio of non-agency mortgage-backed senior/subordinate structures representing over several billion dollars in principal.
* Valued and developed sell/hold recommendations for a portfolio of illiquid equity and fixed-income securities.
* Performed baseline evaluation of financial operations and condition of a veterans' housing finance program.
* Valued the capital structure, production, operations and related asset holdings of mortgage banking companies.


August 1991 to October 1995 – Recruited by major Wall Street firm in 1991 as a Financial Consultant. Responsible for establishing an institutional business development effort through targeted spheres of influence. Additional responsibilities included training of securities salesmen and refining proprietary market analysis, asset/liability and interest rate risk management models.

* Developed financial consulting unit producing institutional energy transactions.
* Trained financial consultants to improve their productivity by directing efforts toward client-oriented solutions.


June 1988 to August 1991 – Retained by private investors to represent their corporate interests. Examples include:

* Served on Board of Directors of independent bank and bank holding company in a "turn-around" situation. Was instrumental in effecting timely merger.
* Minority equity participant in a high powered Direct Broadcast Satellite ("DBS") permittee, developed business plan and strategic alliances resulting in original group's holdings to increase substantially in value.


August 1984 to June 1988 –- Recruited by major Wall Street firm in 1984 as Associate Director of their Financial Services Group. Responsibilities included the sale of fixed income, mortgage-backed, tax exempt, corporate and derivative securities to institutional clients.

* Within three plus years, created highly productive fixed income, mortgage-backed, tax exempt, corporate and derivative securities production unit.
* Developed several multi-million dollar structured asset and liability transactions based on specific institutional client needs.


October 1980 to August 1984 – Founded and managed Financial Trends Management, an asset/liability and interest rate risk management consulting firm retained by over 300 financial intermediaries (including commercial banks, thrifts, insurance companies and mortgage banks) and private investors. Was responsible for working with boards of directors, senior and executive management teams and staff in evaluating, developing and implementing asset/liability and portfolio risk management programs. The specific tasks in these engagements included:

* Situation analyses and the development of tailored risk management programs with an emphasis on integrating with other critical policies and procedures.
* Development and implementation of portfolio strategies and tactical adjustments.
* Ensuring appropriate accounting, recordkeeping and reporting to management, board of directors, shareholders and regulators.
* Assist clients in internalizing their capability to make/ implement disciplined risk management decisions.


January 1974 to October 1980 – Employed by Community First Bank and Pacific Bancorporation as a staff accountant. As a result of accomplishments, was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with responsibilities for all accounting, financial reporting, portfolio management, asset/liability management, and interest rate risk management functions. An important part of fulfilling these responsibilities was the on-going development and refinement of several related computer model development initiatives.
